in april of 2008 we said goodbye to santa cruz, and headed for home in madison, wi.  we shipped all of our belongings which afforded us a lovely two week road trip across the american southwest.  these are some photographic highlights of that trip through death valley, las vegas, the grand canyon, zion, bryce canyon, and arches.  we like to call it the great southwest road trip (gswrt, for short).  please see the month of april on our blog for more details of the trip.
