the grand canyon is one of the most incredible places we have visited.  we reached the south rim after some keys-locked-car-while-car-was-running type of drama, and we were greeted by spectacular views of colorful rocks and late day canyon beauty.  the following day, we hiked into the canyon on the bright angel trail.  it is a beautiful and powerful place, and we hope to return.
